Reclaimed Oak Chair

I’ve just finished making a bespoke chair for a customer who had recently commissioned me to make a rustic desk unit out of a Victorian tree guard with reclaimed oak shelves, He then needed a matching chair to go with it.

Chairs have always been a passion of mine to make, although time consuming and challenging the end result is always satisfying!

This rustic chair was made out oak, the back and seat were made from reclaimed timber that came out of the river test, after a good scrub with a wire brush and a few coats of clear wax the end result is beautiful.
