Wabisabi Bench

I was lucky enough to salvage some highly textured Chestnut beams out of the River Test, they had been used to shore up the banks and had been in the water for decades giving them a naturally sculpted organic appearance.

After painstakingly cleaning and washing them to get the Chestnut back to a light colour I decided to make this Wabisabi inspired bench with splayed Oak legs that also came out of the River.

This 2 metre long Rustic Bench is beautiful, It will sit perfectly in a Hallway or could be used with a large Dining Table.
